What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness-based meditation is about learning to shift our attention and awareness from the past, and our worries about the future, to the present moment. Mindfulness helps increase mental resilience and wellbeing and an enjoyment of the present moment.
Originally based on the concept of mindfulness in Buddhist meditation, mindfulness is a non-religious and non-denominational activity.
Mindfulness based meditation has been shown to improve depression, anxiety and stress. Everyone can benefit from brief moments of mindfulness in their day to day lives.
